경남교육청, ‘등·하교 안전 통학로 확보한다’

[브레이크뉴스=박찬호 기자] 경남교육청은 경남녹색어머니연합회 회원들과 함께 8월 말까지 도내 모든 초등학교 통학로에 대해 교통안전 점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

3일 오후 1시 창원 토월초등학교에서 진행한 통학로 현장 점검에는 경남녹색어머니연합회와 창원중부지회 임원 12명, 경상남도교육청 안전총괄과장과 통학 안전 담당 공무원 등이 참석해, 토월초등학교 주변 각종 교통안전 시설물과 어린이 보호 구역을 점검하고, 등하교 시 위험 요소가 있는지를 확인했다.

경남녹색어머니연합회와 경상남도교육청은 이날 토월초등학교를 시작으로 8월 말까지 분교장을 포함한 도내 모든 초등학교의 통학 안전 현황을 점검할 예정이다.

이번 통학로 현장 점검에서 수집한 정보는 누구나 확인하고 자유롭게 의견을 제출할 수 있도록, 경남교육청이 전국 최초로 구축한 통학안전시스템 안전아이로에 반영해 안전한 등하굣길을 만드는데 활용할 예정이다.
