[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 16일 군청 대회의실에서 구인모 거창군수, 신성범 국회의원을 비롯한 공직자 200여명이 참여한 가운데 대통령 직속 지방시대위원회 우동기 위원장을 초청해 ‘지방시대 비전과 전략’이라는 주제로 특강을 개최했다.

이번 특강은 수도권 쏠림 현상과 지역 인구 유출의 위기 속에 공직자들이 국가 균형발전 정책을 깊이 있게 이해하고 지방소멸에 선제적으로 대응하는 지역 맞춤 전략 등을 발굴하기 위해 마련됐다.

우동기 위원장은 특강에서 “모든 국민이 양질의 의료서비스를 누릴 수 있는 의료개혁, 교육발전특구를 통한 지역 인재 양성·정주 생태계 구축, 생활인구 및 방문인구 확대를 추진하고 지방의 경쟁력을 강화해 지역소멸을 극복해 나가자”고 강조했다.
