[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 조규일 진주시장은 정인교 산업통상자원부 통상교섭본부장을 만나 진주 K-기업가정신의 세계적 확산을 위한 다양한 방안에 대해 논의했다고 17일 밝혔다.
이날 조 시장은 진주시에서 추진하는 ‘진주 K-기업가정신 국제포럼’이 대한민국을 대표하는 경제포럼으로 발전할 수 있도록 정부 차원의 적극적인 지원 필요성을 강조했다.
또 그는 오는 9월 29일부터 10월 1일까지 개최되는 ‘진주 K-기업가정신 국제포럼’에 정인교 본부장의 적극적인 관심과 참석을 요청했다.
이에 정인교 본부장은 “K-콘텐츠로 진주 K-기업가정신을 세계로 확산하는 것에 공감한다”며 “진주 K-기업가정신 국제포럼에 가능한 참석하도록 하겠다”고 답했다.

이어 용 차관은 “올해 11월 브라질 리우데자네이루에서 열리는 G20 정상회의에 진주시와 함께 한국의 빛인 진주실크등이 전시될 수 있도록 적극 협력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
특히 조 시장은 용호성 제1차관에게 ‘2025 APEC 정상회의’의 부대행사로 진주 K-기업가정신 국제포럼과 진주를 대표하는 문화콘텐츠와 연계한 행사를 진주시에서 개최할 것을 제안했다.
