윤석열 대통령이 24일 한동훈 국민의 힘 대표 등 여당 신임 지도부를 용산 대통령실로 초청해 만찬을 갖고 '화합'을 다졌다. 국민의 힘 전당대회가 끝난 후 단 하루만에 이뤄진 전격 상견례다.
이날 대통령실에 따르면 용산 대통령실 야외 정원 파인그라스에서 열린 만찬은 오후 6시 30분부터 8시 30분까지 약 2시간여 가량 화기애애한 분위기 속에 진행됐다.
이날 만찬에선 "전당대회가 끝났으니 화합하자" "함께하자' 등 여러 덕담이 오간 것으로 알려졌다.
정혜전 대통령실 대변인 서면브리핑에 따르면 윤 대통령은 "우리가 앞으로 하나 돼 한 대표를 잘 도와줘야 된다"며 "어려운 일이 있을 때 혼자 해결토록 놔두지 말고 주위에서 잘 도우라"고 당부했다.
