윤석열 대통령이 2일 노경필(59·사법연수원 23기)·박영재(55·22기) 신임 대법관 임명안을 재가했다고 대통령실이 전했다.
대통령실은 이날 오후 언론 공지에서 "윤 대통령은 오늘 노경필·박영재 신임 대법관 임명을 재가했다"고 밝혔다.
앞서 국회는 전날 본회의에서 노경필·박영재 대법관 후보자 임명동의안을 가결했다. 대법관 임명은 국회 동의를 받아야 한다.
노 대법관은 광주고·서울대 법학과 졸업 후 지난 1997년 서울지법 판사로 임용된 가운데 5년 간 대법원 재판연구관으로 헌법·행정 사건을 맡았으며 수원고법 수석부장판사·수원고법 부장판사를 지냈다.
박 대법관은 배정고·서울대 법학과 졸업 후 지난 1996년 서울지법 동부지원 판사로 임용돼 그간 법원행정처 인사담당관·기획총괄심의관·서울고법 부장판사 등을 거쳤다.
한편 이숙연 대법관 후보자는 여야 간 이견으로 인사청문경과보고서 채택이 보류됐다.

The Office of the President reported that President Yoon Seok-yeol approved the appointment of new Supreme Court Justices Noh Kyung-pil (59, 23rd class of the Judicial Research and Training Institute) and Park Young-jae (55, 22nd class) on the 2nd.

After graduating from Bae Jeong-go and Seoul National University Law School, Justice Park was appointed as a judge at the Eastern Branch of the Seoul District Court in 1996.
