브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 오세훈 서울시장은 2일 더불어민주당이 주도하고 있는 '전국민 25만원 지원법(민생회복 지원금 지급을 위한 특별조치법)'이 국회 본회의를 통과한데 대해 "그 돈이면 티메프(티몬, 위메프) 피해 영세 소상공인 지원부터 나서자"고 밝혔다.
오세훈 시장은 이날 자신의 페이스북을 통해 "약자를 보호하겠다는 민주당이 기이하게도 '보편'이라는 수식어를 붙여 13조원의 현금을 묻지마 살포하겠다고 한다"며 이같이 말했다.
그는 민주당의 25만원 지원법 통과 강행에 "이번 사태의 본질은 '반(反) 약자·반(反) 복지"라며 "어려운 국민부터 보듬기 위해 마련된 복지 재정을 가진 사람들의 지갑을 채워주는 데 쓰겠다는 논리"라고 비판했다.
이어 그는 "돈을 풀어 물가를 자극하면 그에 따른 피해는 고스란히 약자가 지게 될 것"이라며 "서민을 위한다면서 뿌린 돈이 서민의 삶을 파탄 낼 것이다. 이것이 이재명 대표가 말하는 '먹사니즘(먹고 사는 문제)'은 강자와 부자를 위한 이데올로기인가"라고 꼬집었다.
오 시장은 복지 정책은 한정된 재원을 누구에게 어떻게 사용하느냐에 따라 효과가 판가름 난다"면서 "지금이라도 현금 25만원 살포 법안을 철회하고 당장 고통받는 약자의 삶부터 챙기자"라고 촉구했다.
그러면서 "차제에 여야가 약자를 위한 '핀셋 복지'에 대한 논의에도 착수할 수 있길 바란다. 민주당은 부디 '약자와의 동행'에 동참해 달라"고 거듭 호소했다.
