윤석열 대통령이 7일 국민의 힘 김상훈 정책위의장 등 '한동훈 지도부' 신임 당직자들에게 축하 난을 보냈다.
이날 대통령실에 따르면 윤 대통령은 6일 김명연 정무1비서관을 통해 김 의장·김종혁 지명직 최고위원·곽규택·한지아 수석대변인·신지호 전략기획부총장·정성국 조직부총장 등 6명에게 난을 보냈다.
앞서 지난달 24일 한동훈 대표에게 홍철호 대통령실 정무수석을 통해 축하 난·메시지를 전달한 바 있다.
대통령은 통상 선출직인 당대표·원내대표·사무총장·정책위의장 등 소위 '당4역'에게 축하 난을 보내왔는데 이번엔 이례적으로 임명직 당직자들에게도 같은 예우를 하면서 '당정 결속 강화' 함의가 담긴 것으로 보인다.
이는 5선 의원 출신 정진석 대통령 비서실장이 '당에서 고생하시는 분들이니까 예의를 갖추면 좋겠다'는 의견을 냈고 윤 대통령이 수용해 이뤄졌다.
