세종시의회‘쾌적한 도시환경 유지와 지속 가능한 크린넷 운영을 위한 특별위원회(이하 ‘크린넷 특위’)’는 19일 제2차 회의를 개최하고 집행부로부터 세종시의 크린넷 운영 상황을 청취했다.
이날 김현옥 위원장을 비롯한 크린넷 특위 위원들은 세종시청 자원순환과장 등 관계 공무원의 크린넷 운영에 대해 보고받았다.
이어 유관기관(아파트 입주자 대표 연합회, 주택관리협회 세종시회)과 향후 계획과 방향에 대해 질의·응답하는 시간을 가졌다.
크린넷 특위는 현재 운영상 나타난 문제점에 대한 지적보다는 함께 소통하며 해결 방안을 마련할 것 ,입주민에 대한 피해가 없도록 조치 ,음식물쓰레기 처리기 보급 등 자체 감량방안 마련, A/S전담팀 설치 등 제안 ,지속 가능한 크린넷 사용을 위한 종합대책 마련 촉구 등 크린넷 운영 전반에 대해 조언했다.
아울러, 크린넷 특위는 앞으로의 특위 활동 방향에 대해 논의한 끝에 회의 및 토론회 개최, 현장방문 추진, 협력체계 구축 등이 포함된 연간 활동 계획(안)을 원안으로 가결했다.
김현옥 위원장은 “우리 시 크린넷의 문제를 모두가 공감하고 있는 만큼 올해는 해결 방안을 적극 모색해야 할 중요한 시기”라며 “앞으로 시민들이 체감할 수 있도록 집행부, 유관 단체와 지속적으로 소통하며 해결 방안을 찾기 위해 심혈을 기울여 활동하겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.
앞서 김현옥 위원장은 지난 16일에 대한주택관리사협회 세종시지회가 초청한 간담회에 참석하여 크린넷 운영상의 현황과 문제점을 일선 현장의 아파트관리소장 및 관계자들에게서 직접 듣고 함께 의견을 나누는 시간을 가졌다.
한편, 크린넷 특위에서는 김현옥 위원장, 윤지성 부위원장과 김충식, 김영현, 김현미, 안신일, 이현정 위원 등 총 7명의 위원이 활동 중이며, 활동기간은 2026년 6월 30일까지다.
