한중도시우호협회는 8월27일 보도자료에서 “권기식 회장은 8월26일 오후 중국 베이징시 차오양(朝陽)구 왕징(望京) 소재 풀테크센터(福泰中心)에서 이정구 주중한국대사관 중소벤처기업관을 면담했다”고 알렸다.
이 자료에 따르면, 권기식 회장은 이 기업관에게 한중경제협력센터에 대해 소개하고 한중 경제협력을 위한 관심과 지원을 당부했다. 권기식 회장은 "한중 경제협력이 공고화되면 한중 우호는 자연스럽게 이루어진다"며 "한국의 중소기업과 벤처기업들의 한중 경제협력을 위해 많은 역할을 해달라"고 말했다.
이정구 주중한국대사관 중소벤처기업관은 "한국의 중소기업과 벤처기업들이 중국 기업들과 많은 협력을 할 수 있도록 최대한지원하겠다"고 밝혔다. 이날 면담에는 김형학 협회 베이징 지회 비서장이 동석했다.
권기식 회장은 이에 앞서 지난 25일 베이징시 왕징 소재 ㅅ한식당에서 왕훙빈(王洪彬) 중국 식문화연구회 집행비서장과 만찬을 함께하며 협력방안을 논의했다.

The Korea-China Cities Friendship Association announced in a press release on August 27 that “Chairman Kwon Ki-sik met with Lee Jeong-gu, the SMEs and ventures officer of the Korean Embassy in China, at the Fulltech Center (福泰中心) located in Wangjing (望京), Chaoyang (朝陽) District, Beijing, China on the afternoon of August 26.”
According to the release, Chairman Kwon Ki-sik introduced the Korea-China Economic Cooperation Center to the officer and asked for his interest and support for Korea-China economic cooperation. Chairman Kwon said, “If Korea-China economic cooperation is solidified, Korea-China friendship will naturally come about,” and “I ask that Korean SMEs and ventures play a large role in Korea-China economic cooperation.” The Small and Medium Venture Business Office of the Korean Embassy in China, Lee Jeong-gu, said, "We will provide maximum support so that Korean small and medium-sized enterprises and venture companies can cooperate with Chinese companies." Secretary-General of the Beijing branch of the association Kim Hyeong-hak was present at the meeting.
President Kwon Ki-sik had dinner with Executive Secretary-General of the Chinese Food Culture Research Association Wang Hongbin (王洪彬) at the S Korean Restaurant in Wangjing, Beijing on the 25th to discuss cooperation plans.
