‘소득이 있는 임업, 일자리가 있는 임업, 지역을 살리는 임업’을 주제로 개최되는 이번 대회는 (사)한국임업후계자협회 경북도지회가 주관하며학술세미나, 초청 강연회, 체험·전시프로그램 등이 진행된다.
전국 각지의 임업후계자와 가족 10,000여명 이상이 참여하는 이번 행사는산림의 비전 제시와 더불어 임업 관련 다양한 정보를 공유하는 화합의 장이될 것으로 기대된다.
임업후계자 전국대회 첫날인 9월 5일에는 ▲ 학술세미나(송이생산 유통 및 소득증대방안, 임업인에 맞는 맞춤형 정원산업 전략) ▲ 개그맨 김병조초청 강연회 ▲ 환영의 밤(임업인 페스타) 등 전국 임업후계자가 한자리에모여 선진 임업정보 교류와 화합의 시간을 가질 예정이다.
둘째날인 9월 6일에는 ▲개회식 ▲9도 임산물 요리경연대회 ▲학술세미나(임업직불제 활성화방안,효율적인 숲경영체험링 조성운영방안) ▲울진과 함께하는 임업인 가족노래자랑 등 화합의 무대가 이어지고, 7일 폐회식을끝으로 마무리된다.
또한 부대행사로 산림과 귀산촌에 관심이 있는 분들을 위한 산림소득지원사업, 친환경인증 등 상담소 운영 등 각종 임산물도 전시 판매된다.
울진군은 임업후계자와 가족들이 안전하고 편안하게 대회에 참여할 수 있도록 사전 준비에 철저를 기하고 있다.
손병복 울진군수는“지난 2022년 대형산불로 울진군 임업인들이 많은피해를 입었지만, 포기하지 않고 ‘산림대전환프로젝트’를 통해 다시 일어서기 위한 노력을 이어가고 있다”라며 “이번 대회를 통한 교류로 울진 임업 비전 마련에 도움이 되기를 바란다”라고 말했다. 또한“전국 임업후계자와 울진군민이 함께 즐기는 이번 대회가 성공적으로 마무리 될 수 있도록 끝까지 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.
