[브레이크뉴스경기남부=오산 이현준기자] 오산시의회 이상복 의장은 오산시 새마을 부녀회와 간담회를 가졌다.
30일 의장실에서 진행된 이날 간담회에는 이광수 오산시 새마을회장, 서주현 새마을 지도자 오산시 협의회장, 홍영숙 오산시 새마을 부녀회장 등 16명이 참석하였으며 새마을지회의 건의 사항 및 애로 사항도 청취했다고 밝혔다.
이 자리에서 이상복 의장은 새마을지회의 지역사회를 위한 헌신적인 봉 사 활동에 대해 그동안의 공로와 노고에 대해 감사의 인사를 전했다.
이상복 의장은“현재 대한민국이 선진국으로 발전하게 된 배경에는 근면·자조·협동이라는 새마을정신의 영향이 컸다.” 며 “앞으로도 새마을운동이 이웃과 함께 아름답고 살기 좋은 지역사회를 만들기 위해 헌신해 줄 것을 부탁드린다.”라고 밝혔다.
