[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시가 ‘시니어빨래방’을 개소했다.
2일 개소식에는 이상일 용인특례시장, 유진선 시의회 의장, 김상수 문화복지위원장, 김기태 처인노인복지관장, 조당호 (사)연꽃마을 대표이사(용인시니어클럽 운영), 일자리 참여 어르신, 주민 등 50여명이 참석했다.
시는 경기도 ‘노인일자리 창출지원사업’ 공모에 선정돼 도비 7500만원을 지원받고 시비 7500만원을 더해 용인시의 13번째 시장형 일자리사업인 시니어빨래방을 개소했다.
시니어빨래방은 셀프빨래방에 세탁서비스를 추가한 형태로 어르신들은 빨래방 관리와 거래업체가 요청하는 세탁서비스를 맡게 된다.
시는 시니어빨래방에 대형 세탁기 3대, 2단 건조기 2대를 설치 했으며, 세탁봉투·건조기 전용 섬유유연제인 바운스 판매기, 빨래카트 등을 비치해 시민들이 셀프빨래방을 편리하게 이용할 수 있게 했다.
빨래방 운영은 노인일자리지원기관인 용인시니어클럽에서 하는데, 노인 일자리 참여 어르신 14명이 3팀으로 나눠 오전 8시 30분부터 오후 7시까지 근무하며 빨래방 이용안내, 거래업체 세탁물 수거·세탁·건조·배송 업무 등을 수행한다.
시민들은 연중무휴 24시간 셀프빨래방을 이용할 수 있다.
