【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국원자력환경공단(이사장 조성돈)은 청년의 달을 맞아 4일 경주 본사에서 아동복지시설 대자원(원장 조영재)에 자립준비청년 홀로서기를 위한 기부금을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

공단은 지난 달 16, 17일 양일간 봉황대 일원에서 열린 ‘제5회 경주시 청년의 날’ 행사에서 공단, 경주시, 경주시청년센터와 함께 ‘착한소비’를 주제로 판매부스를 운영, 수익금 400여만원을 마련하였다.
이와 함께 공단은 자립준비청년을 위해 대자원과 상호협력 MOU를 체결하고 진로설계 및 심리적 안정을 위한 지원과 보호자 부재, 경험 부족으로 인해 사회 생활을 영위하는데 필요한 기초 지식 교육 프로그램을 운영하고 있다.
김용완 한국원자력환경공단 부이사장은 “지자체뿐 아니라 유관기관과 함께 자립준비청년과 소통하여 자립에 필요한 지원과 삶의 질을 높이는데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
조영재 대자원 원장은 “자립준비청년들의 행복하고 안전한 자립에 큰 디딤돌이 되어주고, 건강한 사회구성으로 정착할 수 있도록 항상 응원해 주셔서 감사하다”고 밝혔다.
