대통령실이 4일 더불어민주당을 향해 "아직도 괴담·궤변에서 헤어 나오지 못하고 있다"고 비판했다.
대통령실 관계자는 이날 오후 용산 대통령실에서 취재진과 만나 박찬대 민주당 원내대표의 국회 교섭단체대표연설에 대해 이같이 말했다.
그러면서 박 원내대표가 헌법을 거론하며 윤석열 대통령을 비판한 것 관련해선 "위헌·위법적 법안을 발의해 재의요구권(거부권)을 유도했고 당 대표 방탄 수사를 위해 수사 검사를 불러 청문회를 열었다"며 "당 대표를 수사하는 검사를 탄핵하겠다 했고 판사 탄핵까지 하겠다 했다"고 지적했다.
또 "돈봉투 최고위원 같은 분들은 면책 특권 뒤에 숨었다"며 "이런 당 원내대표가 헌법을 거론한다는 게 잘 이해 안 되며 것이 바로 그들이 말하는 시민 눈높이 정치인지도 모르겠다"고 덧붙였다.
앞서 박 원내대표는 이날 국회 교섭단체대표연설에서 "민심은 권력이란 배를 띄우기도 하지만 성나면 배를 뒤집는다. 국민은 불의한 권력을 그냥 두고 보지 않는다"며 "계속 민심을 거역한다면 윤 대통령도 불행한 전철을 밟을 것"이라고 말했다.
또 박 원내대표가 의료계 사태 해결을 위한 '여·야·의·정 비상협의체' 구성을 제안한 것에 대해선 "아직 여야 간, 지난번 여야 대표 회담에서도 의대 증원 유예나 이런 문제에 대해 합의 못했다"며 "여야 간 먼저 협의하는 과정을 지켜봐야 한다"고 전했다.
