임허사, 동국대 WISE캠퍼스에 1천만 원 장학금 기부

동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스(총장 류완하)는 지난 9월 4일 동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 백주년기념관 5층 세미나실에서 ‘철우장학회 장학생’ 장학증서 수여식을 개최했다고 5일 밝혔다.

이날 수여식에는 임허사 주지 철우스님, 류완하 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 총장, 김상욱 기획처장, 하성 학생처장, 서운교 대외협력처장 등이 참석했고 장학생 8명에게 장학금 1000만원을 수여했다.

임허사 주지 철우 스님은 “동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스의 훌륭한 인재불사에 동참할 수 있게 되어 영광스럽다며, ”지혜, 자비, 정진의 교훈을 잘 지킬수 있는 동국인으로 성장하길 바라고 이번 장학금이 학생들의 역량개발에 조금이나마 도움이 되기를 바란다“고 기부 소감을 전했다.

류완하 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 총장은 “임허사 주지 철우 스님께서 미래불자 육성을 위해 소중한 정재를 희사해 주셔서 감사드린다”며 “오늘 장학금을 받는 학생들은 다른 학생들의 모범이 되어야 하고 동국대 WISE캠퍼스는 건학이념의 구현과 지역의 미래 발전을 위해 최선의 노력을 다할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Dongguk University WISE Campus (President Ryu Wan-ha) announced on the 5th that it held a scholarship award ceremony for the ‘Cheolwoo Scholarship Scholarship’ at the seminar room on the 5th floor of the Dongguk University WISE Campus Centennial Memorial Hall on September 4th.
