화성시, 농촌리빙랩 발대식

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시가 스마트도시 농촌 리빙랩 발대식을 개최했다.

지난 4일 비봉면 행정복지센터 대강당에서 총 22명의 시민참여단으로 구성돼 출범하게 됐다.

시에서는 농촌리빙랩 출범에 앞서 시민참여단 참여 독려를 위해 지난달 27일 비봉면 주민을 대상으로 화성시 스마트도시 통합운영센터 견학을 진행한바 있다.

시민참여단은 3회 워크숍을 통해 △시민이 체감하는 농촌 지역문제 인식 △적용 가능한 기술·서비스 검토 및 도출 △해결책 구체화 하기 등의 활동을 하게 된다.

특히, 농촌 고령화 문제, 스마트 팜, 교통 등에 대한 주제를 연구하게 될 예정이다.

이날 발대식에서는 시민참여단의 스마트도시 이해도 향상을 위해 스마트도시 의미와 필요성, 스마트도시 서비스 사례 및 지속가능한 스마트도시를 위한 리빙랩의 중요성에 대한 교육 또한 실시됐다.

조남철 스마트도시과장은 “비봉면은 고령인구가 많은 전형적인 농촌 지역이면서 어천역 등 도시시설이 가깝고 비봉택지가 조성되고 있어 도시 시설을 이용하기 유리하기도 한 지역이다”며, “지역의 단점을 보완하고 강점을 특화할 수 있는 스마트도시 서비스를 이번 리빙랩을 통해 찾아 봤으면 한다”고 기대감을 전했다.
