[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안성 이현준기자] 안성시의회는 제225회 임시회를 6일 폐회했다.
제2차 본회의에서는 각 특별위원회 심의를 거쳐 상정된 조례안 및 예산안 등 27건의 안건이 가결됐다.
가결된 안건 중 조례등 심사 특별위원회 소관으로는 ▲안성시 반도체산업 육성 및 지원 조례 일부개정조례안 ▲안성시 외국인 주민 및 다문화가족 지원 조례 일부개정조례안 ▲안성시 어린이·사회복지급식관리지원센터 민간위탁 동의안 등 23건이 있다.
이어 예산결산특별위원회 소관으로 ▲2024년도 제3회 일반 및 특별회계 추가경정 예산안 ▲2024년도 안성시 고향사랑기금 운용계획변경안 등 4건이 있다.
이번 회의에서 정천식 부의장은 자유발언을 통해 “공유자전거 정책을 시작으로, 기후 위기 대응을 위한 친환경 정책을 적극 모색해야 한다”며 미래 세대에 대해 안성시가 가진 책무를 언급했다.
한편 지난 임시회를 통해 박근배 의원은 장거리 고등학교 학생 통학 여건 개선을 위해 학생 통학 현황 및 안전 대책 등 실태 조사 실시 여부를 질의하고, 이중섭 의원은 전통시장 활성화 방안 및 주차장 문제에 대한 해결책을 질의했으며, 이관실 의원은 안성시 교육 분야 발전계획, 지역 인재 양성을 위한 방안, 평생학습 마을 공동체 지원사업 및 1마을 1평생교육 추진, 유보통합 대응책에 대해 질의했다.
이에 김보라 안성시장은 2차 본회의에서 장거리 고등학교 학생 통학 여건 개선에 대해 “학생 통학 순환버스만으로는 한계가 있으니 대중교통 노선이 병행된다면 학생뿐만 아니라 시민들의 삶의 질도 높일 수 있을 것”이라 답했다. 또한 전통시장 주차장 문제에 대해 “전통시장에 오는 고객을 위한 주차장으로 활용될 수 있도록 하겠다”고 말했으며, 교육 분야 시정질문에 대해 “교육발전계획 수립 용역 결과를 토대로 지역발전과 지역 인재 양성을 위한 체계적인 교육 발전계획을 수립하겠다”고 답변했다.
안정열 의장은 제2차 본회의 폐회사를 통해 “집행기관에서는 철저한 준비를 통해 오늘 의결된 이번 추경예산안을 적기에 집행할 수 있도록 노력해달라”며 “안전사고 예방 등 명절 종합대책도 차질 없이 추진해달라”고 당부했다.
