안성시, 양성평등주간 기념행사 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안성 이현준기자] 안성시가 양성평등주간 기념행사를 열었다.

지난 5일 한경대학교 산학협력단 시청각실에서 올해로 27회째를 맞이하는 이번 행사는 “함께 일하고 함께 돌보는 양성평등사회 건강한 가족을 만들어요”라는 슬로건으로 안성시여성단체협의회주관으로 추진됐다.

여성단체 회원과 양성평등 유공자 등 300여명이 참석한가운데 안성맞춤여성합창단의 공연으로 행사 시작을 알렸다.

1부에는 식전공연으로 안성맞춤여성합창단과 국가무형유산 제58호 줄타기 전수장학생 이도휘 학생의 경기민요, 전상건마술사의 마술공연이 있었으며 2부 기념식에서는 양성평등 문화확산과 여성의사회참여 확대에 기여한 유공자 총 21명에게 표창을 수여하였고 여성단체 회원들이슬로건을 함께 외치며 양성평등사회 실현을 다짐하는 시간을 가졌다.

김미경 안성시여성단체협의회 회장은 기념사를 통해 “양성평등을 위해 공헌해 주신 많은 여성지도자분께 감사드린다”며 “앞으로도 양성평등의 가치를 공감하고실천하는 사회로 가기 위해 더욱 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

이날 행사에 참석한 김보라 안성시장은 “오늘 행사를 준비해주신 김미경 회장님을비롯한 여성단체 회원님들께 감사드린다”며 “안성시도 양성평등한 사회로 한단계더 나아갈수 있도록 많은 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
