조규일 진주시장, 어사소하천 둘레 산책길 현장점검

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 조규일 진주시장이 신진주 역세권 내 ‘어사소하천 둘레 산책길 조성공사’사업지를 현장 점검했다고 10일 밝혔다.

이번 산책로 조성공사 사업지는 어사천 내 산책로의 일부구간이 연결되지 않아 시민들의 보행노선 개선 요구가 있었던 구간이다.

시는 어사천 내 여유공간을 활용해 폭 2m, 총 길이 578m의 산책로 및 보행등을 설치해 시민들이 편리하고 안전하게 산책할 수 있는 환경을 제공할 예정이다.

시는 올해 2억5000만 원을투입해 데시앙과 단독주택 용지 사이의 단절된 산책로 158m를 먼저 개설하고, 향후 사업비를 추가 확보해 맞은편 구간의 산책로420m를 조성한다는 계획이다.

조규일 시장은 “시민들이 즐겨찾는 공간으로 자리매김할 것 같다”며“시민들의 생활환경 개선을 위해 불편사항을 잘 듣고 시정에 반영할 수 있도록 최선을 다할 것”이라고 말했다.
