용인특례시, ‘광교숲속마을 쉼터’방문

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 이상일 용인특례시장은 광교숲속마을 쉼터를 방문했다.

13일 현장 방문에는 윤문성 광교숲속마을발전협의회장, 박진환 상가번영회장 등 시민 10여명이 참석했다.

이 시장은 지역 주민과 상인들이 광교숲속마을 쉼터를 축제와 공연장으로 활용할 수 있게 해달라고 건의함에 따라 현장 확인을 위해 나섰다.

이 시장은 현장 확인 후 “주민과 상인분들이 광교숲속마을을 이렇게 예쁘게 가꿔주시고, 지역 발전을 위해 자발적으로 나서주시니 감사하다”며 “이 쉼터는 한국수자원공사 소유의 땅으로 이 공간을 활용하기 위해서는 수자원공사와의 협의, 예산 확보 등의 절차들이 필요하니 방법을 잘 찾아보겠다”고 말했다.

윤문성 광교숲마을발전협의회장은 ”주민과 상인이 직접 기획하고 참여하는 숲문화축제와 플리마켓이 우리 지역 행사로 자리 잡았지만 더 이상 개최할 장소가 없어져 공간 확보가 절실하다“고 전했다.
