원자력환경공단, 추석맞아 동경주 경로당 62곳에 이웃사랑 전해

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국원자력환경공단(이사장 조성돈)은 추석을 앞두고 13일 동경주사회적협동조합(이사장 김상희)과 동경주 지역 경로당 62개소에 생필품을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

동경주사회적협동조합은 지역 특산품을 생산?가공?판매 등을 통해 양질의 일자리와 지역 경제 활성화에 기여하기 위해 ’21년 설립한 동경주 지역 3개 읍?면 주민이 직접 운영하는 사회적경제조직이다.

이날 재원은 동경주사회적협동조합의 사업 수익금과 공단 임직원의 자발적인 기부로 조성된 사회공헌기금으로 마련했다.

고치환 한국원자력환경공단 소통협력단장은 “현재 경주시 제과제빵 관련 청년 창업가와 협업하여 진행하고 있는 조합의 신규 비즈니스 모델 개발사업이 차질 없이 진행돼 자생력 강화와 수익 창출이 될 수 있도록 적극 노력 하겠다.”고 말했다.

김상희 동경주사회적협동조합 이사장은 ”동경주 지역주민의 복리 증진과 건강한 지역사회 공동체 활성화에 기여할 수 있도록 디딤돌이 되어주고, 주민들의 삶의 질 향상을 위해 공단과 적극 협력하겠다.“ 고 밝혔다.

Kim Sanghee, chairman of the Donggyeongju Social Cooperative, said, “We will actively cooperate with the corporation to contribute to the promotion of welfare for Donggyeongju residents and the revitalization of a healthy local community, and to improve the quality of life of residents.”
