윤석열 대통령이 19일 부인 김건희 여사와 함께 2박 4일간의 체코 공식 순방길에 올랐다.
윤 대통령 내외는 이날 오전 경기 성남 서울공항에서 대통령 전용기 공군 1호기 편으로 출국한 가운데 지난 7월 나토(NATO·북대서양조약기구)정상회의 순방길에서 돌아온 지 69일 만이다.
이날 출국길엔 국민의힘 한동훈 대표·추경호 원내대표·이상민 행정안전부 장관·김홍균 외교부 1차관·대통령실 정진석 비서실장·홍철호 정무수석·야나심볼린 초바 주한체코대사 대리 등이 나와 윤 대통령 내외를 배웅했다.
윤 대통령은 한 대표 등 환송 인사들과 악수 인사를 나눈 후 오전 8시 54분께 공군 1호기에 오른 가운데 김 여사도 한 대표에게 목례하며 인사 후 함께 탑승했다.
윤 대통령은 이날 체코 프라하 도착직후 곧바로 공식방문 일정에 들어가는 가운데 페트르 파벨 체코 대통령과 함께 공식 환영식에 참석하면서 공식 일정을 시작한다.
이어 파벨 대통령과 연이어 단독·확대회담을 연이어 갖고 상호 관계 강화 방안에 대해 폭넓게 논의 예정이며 정상회담 직후 공동기자회견을 갖는다.
또 윤 대통령은 한·체코 대표단 및 정재계 인사들이 참석하는 파벨 대통령 주최 공식 만찬에 참석하는 것으로 순방 첫날 일정을 마무리한다.
