체코를 공식 방문한 윤석열 대통령이 20일(현지시간) "이젠 '팀 코리아'에서 나아가 '팀 체코리아'가 돼 원전 르네상스를 함께 이뤄 나가자"고 밝혔다.
윤 대통령은 이날 프라하 한 호텔에서 대한상공회의소·체코상공회의소·체코산업연맹 공동 주최로 열린 '한·체코 비즈니스 포럼'에 참석해 기조연설에서 "지난 7월 팀 코리아가 체코 신규 원전 건설 사업 우선협상대상자로 선정되는 기쁜 소식이 있었다"며 이같이 말했다.
그러면서 "원전 분야 협력 모멘텀을 산업 전반으로 살려 나가야 한다"며 "양국 정부 간 '무역투자촉진 프레임워크(TIPF)'를 체결해 산업 전반 포괄적 협력을 제도적으로 뒷받침하겠다"고 밝혔다.
또 "우주항공·바이오·첨단화학·소재·디지털·에너지가 양국 연구기관 간 협력 유망 분야로 도출됐다"며 "한·체코 과학기술 협력 'ABCDE'가 마련된 만큼 양국 간 공동 연구·인적 교류를 적극 지원하겠다"고 밝혔다.
이어 "교통 인프라 분야에선 빠르고 안전하단 명성을 쌓아 온 한국 기업이 향후 체코 고속철도 건설·운영에 기여하길 바란다"고 당부했다.
더불어 "한·체코가 수교도 하기 전인 1989년 '한·체코 경제협력위원회'가 발족해 양국 경제계가 교류를 시작했고, 35년이 지난 지금은 체코 노쇼비체에서 양국 기술자들이 현대자동차를 함께 만들어 74개국으로 수출하고 있다"며 양국 경제인들을 격려했다.
양국 기업·기관은 이날 포럼에서 경제·산업 분야별 협력 방향을 담은 업무협약(MOU) 14건을 체결한 가운데 정부는 MOU가 향후 구체적 성과로 이어질 수 있도록 지원한다는 방침이다.
이 자리엔 최태원 대한상공회의소 회장·이재용 삼성전자 회장·정의선 현대자동차그룹 회장·구광모 LG 회장·장인화 포스코그룹 회장 등이 참석한 가운데 국내 4대 그룹 총수 전원이 대통령 순방에 동행한 건 올 들어 처음이다.
체코 측은 페트르 파벨 대통령·즈데녝 자이첵 체코상공회의소 회장·얀 라파이 체코산업연맹 회장·페트르 노보트니 스코다그룹 최고경영자 등이 함께했다.
