체코를 공식 방문 중인 윤석열 대통령이 20일(현지시간) 경기도 동두천 교육공무원 부부의 다섯쌍둥이 출산 소식에 "다섯쌍둥이 '팡팡레인저' 탄생을 진심으로 축하한다"고 전했다.
윤 대통령은 이날 페이스북에 "멀리 체코에서 반가운 소식을 들었다"며 "자연 임신으로 다섯쌍둥이가 태어난 건 우리나라에서 처음이다. 정말 기쁜 일"이라며 이같이 적었다.
그러면서 "귀한 다섯 생명을 모두 지켜내신 엄마 아빠께 축하와 감사를 전한다"며 "철저한 준비로 어려운 수술을 성공적으로 해내신 서울성모병원 의료진 여러분께도 감사드린다"고 적었다.
이어 "아기들이 얼른 인큐베이터에서 나와서 건강하게 부모님 품에 안기길 바란다"며 "다섯쌍둥이 기르는 일이 다섯 배 기쁨이 될 수 있도록 정부도 힘껏 돕겠다"고 적었다.
또 "대한민국 모든 엄마 아빠들이 걱정 없이 아이들을 잘 키울 수 있도록 일 가정 양립·양육부담 해소·주거 지원에 더욱 노력하겠다"며 "우리 아이들의 건강하고 행복한 미래를 응원한다"고 덧붙였다.
