윤석열 대통령이 21일 '제5회 청년의 날'을 맞아 "청년들의 공정에 대한 열망을 담은 개혁 발걸음을 멈추지 않을 것"이라고 밝혔다.
체코를 공식 방문 중인 윤 대통령은 이날 페이스북을 통해 "다섯 번째를 맞은 '청년의 날'을 축하한다"며 이같이 적었다.
그러면서 "청년들은 누구보다 공정하고 정의로운 시각으로 사회를 바라본다"며 "청년 여러분은 우리 정부의 가장 중요한 국정 동반자"라고 했다.
또 "뛰어난 역량·도전 정신으로 무장한 대한민국 청년들이 과학·기술·예술 등 다양한 영역에서 활약하고 있다"며 "우리 청년들의 땀·열정이 바로 대한민국 내일을 여는 원동력"이라고 강조했다.
더불어 "힘들고 불안할 때가 있겠지만 무슨 일이 있어도 꿈을 포기하지 말라. 꿈을 꾸고 열정을 느끼는 것 그것이야말로 청년 여러분 특권이며 이 세상을 변화시키는 열쇠"라며 "저와 정부는 청년 여러분과 늘 함께하겠다"고 덧붙였다.
