윤석열 대통령이 21일(현지시간) 2박 4일 간의 체코 공식방문 일정을 마무리하고 귀국길에 올랐다.
윤 대통령은 부인 김건희 여사와 함께 이날 오전 체코 프라하 바츨라프 하벨 국제공항에서 대통령 전용기 공군 1호기에 탑승했다.
공항엔 체코 측 에두아르트 홀리치우스 외교차관·이반 얀차렉 주한 체코대사 내외·토마쉬 페르니츠키 체코 의전장과 홍영기 주체코 한국대사 내외·김명희 한인회장·김만석 민주평통 자문위원 등이 나와이 윤 대통령 내외를 배웅했다.
홀리치우스 차관은 윤 대통령과 악수 인사를 한 후 김 여사에게 꽃다발을 건네고 대화를 나눴다. .
이번 공식 방문을 통해 윤 대통령은 페트르 파벨 체코 대통령에게 '한·체코가 함께 짓는 원전'을 부각하면서 내년 3월 두코바니 원전 2기 건설 사업 최종 계약 성사 가능성을 높였다.
또 양 정상은 두코바니 외 체코 테멀린 신규 원전 건설과 향후 유럽 원전 건설을 위한 공동협력 추진에도 상호 공감대를 형성했다.
윤 대통령은 이번에 페트르 피알라 체코 총리에 내년 방한을 초청했고, 피알라 총리는 방한을 약속했다.
