세종시의회 교육안전위원회는 지난 20일 세종시 학교운영위원장협의회와 간담회를 가졌다.

23일 시의회에 따르면 이번 간담회에는 교육안전위원회 윤지성 위원장, 김동빈, 박란희, 유인호 의원이 참석해 최근 주요 교육 현안에 대해 청취하고 의견을 나눴다.

학교운영위원장협의회 이경진 회장을 비롯한 7명의 간부는 ▲유아 안전을 위한 교실 내 CCTV 설치 ▲중·고등학교 교복 나눔 활성화를 위한 시스템 구축 ▲AI 디지털 교과서 검수 시 학부모 참여 ▲방학 중 급식 확대 ▲등·하교 시간 버스 배차 증설 및 배차시간 조정 ▲마약 및 도박 중독에 대한 현실적 예방교육 프로그램 개발 등을 요구했다.

또 ▲학기 중 교원 휴직·전보 시 학생·학부모 사전 안내 ▲체육복 구입 시 상·하의 개별 구입 방안 도입 ▲학교급 전환기 학부모 대상 의무 시청 콘텐츠 제공 ▲교육청·시청 연합 어린이날 행사 추진 ▲횡단보도 황색 페인트 도색 및 바닥 LED 설치 등 안전한 통학로 확보 노력 ▲딥페이크 성범죄 예방을 위한 윤리 및 도덕 교육의 필요성을 역설하며 교육안전위원회 위원들의 적극적인 관심과 협력을 요청했다.

이에 윤지성 위원장은 “오늘 제안해 주신 다양한 의견에 깊이 공감하며, 현장을 확인하고 조사하는 등 면밀한 검토를 추진하겠다”고 답했다.

더불어 “오늘과 같은 의견 교류의 장은 언제나 환영하며, 앞으로도 학교별 다양한 의견을 가감 없이 전달해주기를 바란다”며 “오늘 제안한 내용의 적용 실효성과 가능성을 집행부와 지속적으로 협의하여 합리적인 대안을 제시할 수 있도록 노력하겠다고”고 덧붙였다.
