충남 서산시 대표축제인 ‘제21회 서산해미읍성축제’가 2일 밤 화려한 개막식을 시작으로 해미읍성 일원에서 5일까지 4일간 개최된다고 서산시가 밝혔다.
이날 개막식에서는 콜롬비아 국립 전통무용단 파차마마의 민속 공연과 서산시립합창단의 식전 공연이 진행됐으며, 개막선언, 환영사, 개막 퍼포먼스 등이 진행됐다.

개막 퍼포먼스로 ‘정명반포 퍼포먼스’, 개막 세레모니, LED 트론 댄스, 뮤지컬 공연, 김희재의 축하공연 등이 이어져 축제 시작의 열기를 더했다.

이후 박해미의 공연이 개막식의 흥을 더했으며 마무리로 김희재의 트로트 열창이 이어지며 개막식은 종료됐다.
개막식에서 이완섭 서산시장은 “서산해미읍성축제가 선조들의 지혜를 바탕으로 과거와 현재, 미래를 아우르는 형형색색의 다채로운 프로그램을 준비했다”라며 “고성의 역사와 지혜가 어우러지는 서산해미읍성축제에 꼭 방문해 풍성한 즐거움을 함께 느껴보시길 바란다”라고 말했다.
