[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 7일부터 오는 18일까지 진주시청 1층 로비에서 ‘2024 진주 건축문화제’가 개최된다고 밝혔다.
이번 건축문화제는 ‘역사문화도시 진주, 두 개의 축으로 보다’라는 주제로, 시의 발전과정을 남강이라는 자연의 축과 진주대로라는 역사적인 축을 기준으로 보여준다.
전시는 두 축을 기준으로 진주시의 발전과정을 나타낸 주제전과 진주시공공건축가전, 대한민국목조건축대전 수상작품전 등으로 마련됐다.
올해 건축문화제는 지난 8월 24일과 25일 초등학생들을 대상으로 제1기 어린이 건축소풍 ‘나는야 나무건축가’를 사전 행사로 개최해 큰 호응을 얻은 바 있다.
조규일 진주시장은 “진주 건축문화제가 2022년을 시작으로 벌써 3회째 개최돼 진주의 중요한 문화로 자리 잡았다”며“시의 건축문화와 공간환경에 뜻깊은 행사가 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
