【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시는 ‘역사를 품은 도시 경주를 디자인하다’를 주제로 ‘2024 경주시 경주다움 디자인 공모전’을 개최한다고 11일 밝혔다.

시에 따르면 이번 공모전은 경주만의 독특한 역사와 문화를 반영한 창의적이고 지속 가능한 공공디자인 아이디어를 발굴하기 위해 마련됐다.
이번 공모전은 대한민국에 거주하는 누구나 참여 가능하며, 공모 분야는 공공시설물 및 공공공간 디자인이다.
접수 기간은 11월 18일부터 11월 22일까지 진행되며 접수 방법은 경주시 홈페이지에서 신청서를 다운로드한 후 경주시청 도시계획과에 직접 방문하거나 우편으로 접수할 수 있다.
공모전 수상은 전문가 심사를 거쳐 선정되며, 시상은 12월 말에 진행한다. 총 상금은 800만원으로 △대상 1명(상금 300만원) △금상 1명(200만원) △은상 1명(100만원) △동상 2명(각 50만원) △장려상 4명(각 25만원) 등 총 9명의 수상자를 선정한다.
수상작은 경주시의 공공디자인 사업에 적극적으로 반영될 예정이며, 보다 자세한 사항은 경주시 홈페이지 공고문에서 확인할 수 있다.
주낙영 경주시장은 “이번 공모전은 천년고도 경주의 정체성을 살리면서도, 현대적인 감각을 더한 참신한 디자인 아이디어를 발굴하는 기회가 될 것”이라며 많은 관심과 참여를 당부했다.
