대통령실이 15일 정치 브로커로 알려진 명태균 씨가 윤석열 대통령 부인 김건희 여사와의 카카오톡 대화 내용 공개 관련해 "대화 속 '오빠'는 김 여사 친오빠"라고 일축했다.
대통령실 관계자는 이날"명태균 카톡에 등장한 오빠는 대통령 아닌 김건희 여사 친오빠이며 당시 문자는 대통령 입당 전 사적으로 나눈 대화일 뿐"이라고 반박했다.
명 씨는 이날 시점을 밝히지 않은 채 김 여사와의 카카오톡 대화를 공개한 가운데 김 여사는 명 씨에게 "철없이 떠드는 우리 오빠 용서해주세요..무식하면 원래 그래요"라고 했다. 평소 명 씨가 윤 대통령 내외와의 친분을 과시해 대화 내용 공개 직후 이 오빠가 윤 대통령을 지칭하는 게 아니냐는 추측이 나왔다.
또 전날 명 씨가 윤 대통령 내외와 매일 스피커폰으로 통화했다고 주장한 것 관련해선 "터무니없는 주장"이라고 거듭 일축했다.
전날 명 씨는 모 매체 인터뷰에서 "대선 기간 아침마다 윤 대통령·김 여사에게 스피커폰으로 전화가 왔다"며 또 김 여사가 대통령직 인수위원회 인사 면접·대통령실 근무를 제안했다고도 주장했다.
앞서 대통령실은 '국민의힘 경선 막바지 이후 윤 대통령이 명 씨와 문자·전화를 주고받은 적이 없다'고 한 바 있다.
