윤석열 대통령이 17일 "많은 저항이 있고 어려움이 있으나 4대 개혁을 반드시 완수할 것"이라고 밝혔다.
윤 대통령은 이날 오후 강원도 강릉시 아이스 아레나에서 '자유와 번영의 대한민국, 함께하는 바르게 살기운동' 주제로 열린 '2024 바르게살기운동 전국회원대회'에 참석해 축사에서 "연금·노동·교육·의료개혁의 4대 개혁은 국가의 지속 가능한 발전을 위한 절체절명 과제"라며 이같이 말했다.
윤 대통령은 지난해에 이어 올해 두 번째 참석한 가운데 현직 대통령의 2년 연속 이 대회 참석은 처음이다.
그러면서 "그 어느 때보다 중요한 대전환 시기를 맞고 있다"며 "인공지능(AI)을 비롯 첨단 기술 발전으로 기회와 동시에 도전들이 앞에 놓여 있다"며 "북한 도발·위협과 안보·경제를 위협하는 글로벌 복합 위기도 계속되고 있다"고 말했다.
또 "인구 위기를 비롯 사회적 난제들에 더해 끊임없이 생산되는 가짜뉴스들이 자유민주주의를 위협하고 있다"며 "바르게 살기 운동 3대 정신인 진실·질서·화합이 어느 때보다 중요하다"고 강조했다.
이어 "우리 경제를 더 힘차게 도약시키고 성장 온기가 민생 구석구석까지 퍼져나가도록 힘 쏟겠다"며 "약자 복지를 강력 추진해 어려운 분들 삶을 더 따뜻하게 보살필 것"이라고 덧붙였다.
윤 대통령은 축사에 앞서 지역사회에서 국민화합 운동·봉사활동에 앞장서 온 공로를 인정해 좌중언 제주특별자치도협의회장 등 13명에게 훈·포장·표창을 직접 수여했다.
바르게살기운동은 진실·질서·화합의 3대 정신을 실천하는 국민운동단체로 지난 1989년 설립돼 올해로 출범 35주년을 맞았다.

Before his congratulatory remarks, President Yoon personally presented medals, decorations, and commendations to 13 people, including the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Council Chairman, in recognition of their contributions to the national reconciliation movement and volunteer activities in the local community.
The Right Living Movement is a national movement that practices the three spirits of truth, order, and harmony. It was founded in 1989 and is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year.
