브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 헤이딜러는 앞선 2차례의 팝업스토어에서 거래됐던 어린이용 전동차 약 250대를 전국 보육원과 어린이 재단 22곳에 기부했다고 22일 밝혔다.
헤이딜러는 지난 2월 하남 스타필드에서 개최한 ‘헤이리틀’ 팝업스토어와 5월 그랜드하얏트 서울에서 사진 두 번째 팝업스토어에서 어린이들이 직접 가져온 중고 전동차를 다른 전동차와 교환하며 중고 거래를 경험할 수 있게 한 바 있다.
이 2차례의 팝업스토어 행사 기간에 어린이용 전동차 1000여 대가 거래됐는데, 이 중 상태가 좋고 작동이 가능한 약 250대를 전국 보육원과 어린이 재단에 기부하기로 한 것이다.
헤이딜러 관계자는 “2차례 팝업스토어에 누적 2만명에 이르는 방문객이 방문했고, 어린이들이 차량 거래부터 시승 운전까지 경험할 수 있었다”면서 “팝업스토어와 이번 기부를 통해 많은 어린이가 자동차에 흥미가 생기는 계기가 됐길 바란다”고 말했다.

Hey Dealer announced on the 22nd that it donated about 250 electric cars for children that were traded at its pop-up stores to 22 daycare centers and children’s foundations nationwide.
