지속가능경영 고도화에 주력한 빙그레가 ESG 평가에서 6년 연속 A등급을 받았다.
빙그레는 한국ESG기준원(KCGS)에서 실시한 2024년 ESG 평가에서 6년 연속 통합 A등급을 획득했다고 10월 28일 밝혔다.
한국 ESG기준원은 국내에서 가장 영향력 있는 ESG 평가기관으로, 매년 국내 상장회사의 지속가능경영 수준을 평가하고 있다. 올해는 1001개 상장회사를 대상으로 환경(E), 사회(S), 지배구조(G) 수준을 평가하고 등급을 공표했다.
빙그레에 따르면 2024년 ESG 평가에서 6년 연속 통합 A등급을 획득했으며 세부적으로는 환경 부문 A, 사회 부문 A+, 지배구조 부문 A의 등급을 받았다.
특히 지배구조 부문에서는 전년 대비 한 단계 상승한 A 등급을 획득하며 ESG 전 영역에서 A등급을 달성했다. 독립적인 이사회와 내부통제기구 운영, 규범준수 경영시스템(ISO37301) 인증 등 글로벌 표준에 맞는 역량 구축의 노력을 인정 받았다.
빙그레는 2018년부터 본격적으로 지속가능경영 체계를 강화하고 중장기 지속가능경영 전략을 수립했다. 이후 ‘전 임직원이 일상적으로 자연스럽게 실천하는 지속가능경영’이라는 비전을 바탕으로 매년 지배구조, 친환경, 윤리경영, 동반성장, 품질경영 등 다양한 ESG 이슈를 선별하고 개선과제를 도출해 해결하고 있다.
