브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자는 오는 11월 21일 ‘삼성 개발자 콘퍼런스 코리아 2024(Samsung Developer Conference Korea 2024, SDC24 Korea)’를 온라인으로 개최한다고 29일 밝혔다.
삼성전자는 소프트웨어의 중요성을 강조하고자 2014년부터 매년 개발자 행사를 다양한 형태로 개최해 오고 있다. 올해로 11주년을 맞이했다.
SDC24 Korea는 삼성전자 DX부문 최고기술책임자(CTO)겸 삼성리서치장 전경훈 사장의 환영사를 시작으로, △생성형 AI △S/W 플랫폼 △IoT △헬스케어 △통신 △데이터 등 제품에 탑재된 다양한 소프트웨어의 연구 분야는 물론 오픈소스 개발 문화에 이르기까지 광범위하게 다룰 예정이다.
키노트에서는 삼성전자의 생성형 AI 기술에 대한 연구개발 성과(삼성전자 삼성리서치 이주형 부사장, 고현목 상무), 삼성전자의 소프트웨어·디바이스 플랫폼 사용 경험 향상 (삼성전자 디바이스플랫폼센터 정재연 부사장, 삼성리서치 권호범 상무)이 소개된다.
기술 세션에서는 △온디바이스용 생성형 AI 모델의 개발과 기기 탑재 과정 △헬스케어의 미래와 삼성 헬스 전략 △매터(Matter) 오픈 소스를 다양한 스마트싱스 플랫폼에 적용한 사례 등 다양한 분야의 개발 경험을 공유하는 29개의 세션을 마련했다.
삼성전자 삼성리서치 S/W혁신센터장 정진민 부사장은 “올해 SDC24 Korea에서는 삼성전자 개발자의 발표 비중을 지난해보다 확대해 삼성의 연구개발 활동을 더 많이 공개한다”며 “앞으로도 수 많은 개발자들과 의미있는 교류를 통해 소프트웨어 생태계를 강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
