진주시, 11월부터 난임 시술 지원횟수 확대

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 11월부터 난임 시술 지원 횟수를 ‘난임부부 당 25회’에서 ‘난임부부 출산 당 25회’로 확대 시행한다고 31일 밝혔다.

이번 확대 시행으로 한번 출산 후에도 추가 임신을 원할 시 25회(인공수정 5회, 체외수정 20회)의 난임 시술 기회가 새로 주어진다.

또 정부 지원의 난임부부 시술비 지원의 경우 45세 전후로 연령이 구분돼 적용됐지만, 11월부터 모든 연령이 동일하게 정부지원금을 받을 수 있다.

진주시 관계자는 “임신을 희망하는 부부들이 출산을 격려하며, 심각해지는 저출산 문제를 해결하는 데 큰 도움이 될 것이다”고 말했다.
