1일 군에 따르면 이날 손병복 군수는 먼저 오곡2리 마을회관에서 진행된‘찾아가는 건강보건소’를 방문하여 어르신들의 애로사항을 청취하고 겨울철 대비 시설점검을 하는 등 안위를 살폈다.

상기 사업은 지역 내 의료취약 주민들에게 이동보건차량을 이용하여 한방 및 물리치료를 제공하고 혈압 및 혈당 측정은 물론, 개인별 맞춤 건강상담을 제공하는 사업이다.

이후 읍·면 취미교실 요가수업이 진행 중인 거일1리 마을회관을 방문하여 어르신들께 운동을 독려하고 여가 활동을 권장하였으며, 군에서 시행 중인 건강프로그램을 전반적으로 점검하고 개선 방향 등을논의했다.

다음으로, 평해 남대천변에 위치한 남울진 파크골프장을 방문하여 잔디 관리상태 및 시설물을 점검하고, 지역 주민들이 쾌적한 환경에서파크골프를 즐길 수 있도록 시설물 유지관리에 철저를 기하도록 지시했다.

손병복 울진군수는“이제는 100세 시대가 도래하여 어르신들이 건강하게오래 사시는 것이 중요하다”라며,“앞으로도 다양한 여가프로그램을 마련하여 어르신들이 더욱 건강하고 활기찬 노후를 보내실 수있도록 최선을다하겠다”라고 말했다.
