브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 스마일게이트는 슈퍼크리에이티브에서 개발중인 신작 RPG ‘카오스 제로 나이트메어(카제나)’의 공식 사이트를 스토브에 오픈하고, 실제 게임 플레이를 확인할 수 있는 PV(Promotion Video)영상도 공개했다고 6일 밝혔다.
오픈 된 공식 사이트에서는 카제나의 세계관과 ‘테라시온’, ‘아이언레인’, ‘실레이마’, ‘펠티온’, ‘스텔라 페밀리아’ 등 카제나에 등장하는 여러 세력들의 배경 스토리가 공개됐다. 각 세력에 소속돼 있는 캐릭터들의 정보도 확인할 수 있다.
추후 게임 속에 삽입될 BGM 4종도 선공개 됐으며, 사이트에서 바로 감상해 볼 수도 있다.
공식 사이트 오픈과 함께 카제나의 실제 게임 플레이 모습을 일부 확인할 수 있는 PV 영상도 공식 유튜브 채널에서 공개됐다. 영상은 ‘카오스’라는 미지의 힘에 의해 침식당한 우주를 배경으로 한 카제나의 세계관을 그려냈다. ‘카드’를 사용한 전투 장면과 뛰어난 퀄리티의 애니메이션 연출, 이용자의 선택에 따라 결과가 끊임없이 변하는 ‘로그라이트’ 방식의 플레이 모습도 최초로 공개됐다.
카제나는 ‘에픽세븐’을 탄생시킨 슈퍼크리에이티브의 김형석 대표가 총괄 디렉터로 직접 개발을 진두지휘하고 있는 스마일게이트의 차세대 IP다. 매력적인 캐릭터를 수집하고 육성하는 RPG를 기반으로 로그라이트를 비롯한 다양한 장르의 장점을 융합해 기존에 없던 새로운 플레이 방식을 선보일 예정이다.
스마일게이트는 공식 사이트 오픈을 기념해 오는 11일까지 소셜 미디어 ‘X’에서 추첨을 통해 메가박스 2인 패키지를 증정하는 이벤트도 진행한다. 이용자들은 카제나의 X 계정을 팔로우 한 뒤 공식 홈페이지 오픈 게시글과 PV영상 링크를 자신의 계정에 재게시하면 이벤트에 참여할 수 있다.
