브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회가 고용노동부 안양지청, 안전보건공단 경기서부지사와 합동 안전 페스티벌을 진행했다. 동시에 한국산업안전보건공단이 주관한 안전보건경영시스템(KOSHA-MS) 사후심사에서 4년 연속 ‘적합’ 판정을 받았다.
안전문화 확산 페스티벌은 고용노동부, 안전보건공단, 상생업체 등 민-관-공이 함께 참여하며, 역대 최대 규모로 진행됐다.
먼저, 지난 10월 29일 과천 바로마켓에서 지역주민 대상으로 안전문화 확산 캠페인을 시행했다. 과천 바로마켓은 농식품부와 한국마사회가 주관해 지역주민 일 평균 8000여 명이 방문하는 전국 최대 규모의 농산물 직거래장터다. 바로마켓 초입부에 8개 체험 부스를 운영해 방문객과 협력업체 임직원을 대상으로 응급구조 교육, 맞춤형 운동 처방, 안전문화 홍보, 룰렛 경품 이벤트 등을 진행했다.
이달 2일에는 서울경마공원 잔디광장에서 체험 부스 운영, 고용노동부 ‘4대 금지 캠페인’ 홍보를 시행했다. 초대형 전광판 비전127을 활용한 안전 퀴즈, 영상 시청을 통해 보다 더 재미있게 안전문화를 전파했다. 같은 날, 고용노동부 안양지청·안전문화실천추진단 임직원이 참석해 안전 추진활동 공유, 아이디어 도출 등을 통해 안전문화 확산에 대한 의지도 제고했다.
이 외에도 지난 10월 30일부터 양일간 안전보건경영시스템(KOSHA-MS) 사후 심사를 진행했다. 한국마사회는 3개 분야(안전보건경영체제, 안전보건경영활동, 안전보건관계자 면담)에서 4년 연속 ‘적합’ 판정을 받았다.
한국마사회 정기환 회장은 “안전은 한국마사회에서 추구하는 최고 가치이다”며 “임직원, 협력업체 근로자 및 고객, 지역주민 모두가 안전하고 쾌적한 환경 속에서 경마를 즐길 수 있도록 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
