[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 12일 진주시청 1층 로비에서 장애인과 가족, 지역사회복지 관계자 등 300여 명이 참여한 가운데 ‘2024년 진주시 장애인 구직박람회’가 성황리에 개최됐다고 밝혔다.
이번 박람회는 경남도와 진주시가 주최해 구직을 희망하거나 정보 부족으로 취업에 어려움을 겪고 있는 장애인에게 전문적인 상담 등을 통해 맞춤형 취업지원서비스를 제공했다.
이날 고용.복지 통합컨설팅관에서는 구직자 상담, 취업 지원 프로그램(훈련 등) 상담, 직업체험관, 복지 상담, 채용관에서는 구인업체의 현장면접이 이뤄졌다.
또 부대행사는 모의면접장과 중증장애인생산품 전시, 사진촬영하기, 개인도장 제작, 장애인 인식개선을 위한 그림공모전 수상작 전시, 희망이룸 오케스트라의 공연도 진행됐다.
이날 채용관에서는 중소벤처기업진흥공단, ㈜라봄 등 19개 기업이 참여해 현장 면접을 통해 사무직, 환경정비 등 40명을 즉시 채용하고, 추가 면접 등을 통해 50여명을 채용한다.
특히 한국장애인고용공단과 협력해 실질적으로 장애인 채용이 가능한 기업을 박람회 현장에 배치하여 현장 면접으로 즉시 채용이 이루어질 수 있도록 해 참여자들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.
조규일 진주시장은 “구직 장애인과 구인 기업체가 모두 만족하는 시간이 됐기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 양질의 일자리 발굴과 고용환경을 조성을 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
