브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 합동참모본부는 18일 북한이 오물 풍선을 계속 날려보내고 있는 상황에 대해 "우리 군의 인내심을 더이상 시험하지 말라"고 경고했다.
합참은 이날 공보부실장 명의의 경고 성명을 통해 "거듭된 경고에도 불구하고 북한은 오늘 새벽 또다시 오물·쓰레기 풍선을 부양했다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
합참은 "북한은 치졸하고 비열한 7000여 개의 풍선으로 우리 국민의 불안과 함께 인적·물적 피해를 발생시키고 있다"면서 "국빈 행사장에도 떨어뜨리는 등 간과할 수 없는 도발 행위를 자행했다"고 비판했다.
그러면서 "북한의 행위는 선을 넘고 있다. 이후 발생하는 모든 사태의 책임은 북한에 있음을 엄중히 경고한다"고 덧붙였다.

합참 발표에 따르면 북한은 지난 5월부터 30여차례에 걸쳐 오물과 쓰레기 등이 담긴 풍선을 남쪽으로 날려보내고 있다.
특히 지난달 24일에는 서울 용산 대통령실 인근 상공에서 오물풍선이 터지면서, 당시 대통령실 앞 잔디마당에서 진행 중이던 폴란드 대통령 국빈 방한 환영식 행사장에 쓰레기가 날리는 사건이 발생하기도 했다.
한편 지난 17일 김여정 북한 노동당 부부장은 남측 민간단체에서 대북전단과 과자·어린이 영양제 등이 담은 풍선을 날려보냈다면서 "인내심에도 한계가 있는 법이다. 가장 혐오스러운 잡종개새끼들에 대한 우리 인민의 분노는 하늘끝에 닿았다"면서 오물 풍선 재 살포를 예고한 바 있다.
김여정 부부장은 또한 우리 군이 무인기를 평양으로 보내 대북전단을 뿌렸다고 주장하며 자신들 역시 똑같이 무인기를 남측으로 날려보낼 수 있다는 위협을 가하기도 했다.

JCS warns, "Don't test our patience any longer" on North Korea's garbage balloon launch
