윤석열 대통령이 21일 5박 8일 간의 제31차 페루 리마 APEC(아시아태평양 경제협력체)·제19차 브라질 리우 G20(주요 20개국) 참석 등 중남미 순방을 마치고 귀국했다.
윤 대통령은 이날 오전 대통령 전용기 공군 1호기 편으로 경기 성남 서울공항에 도착했다.
공항엔 이상민 행정안전부 장관과 대통령실 정진석 비서실장·홍철호 정무수석·김홍균 외교부 제1차관 등이 나와 윤 대통령을 맞이했다.
국민의힘 한동훈 대표·추경호 원내대표 등은 윤 대통령이 '도착 시간이 이른 새벽이라 수고스럽게 공항에 나오지 않아도 된다'는 뜻을 전달해 나오지 않았다.
윤 대통령은 이 장관 어깨를 두들기며 인사하며 정 실장과 손을 맞잡았고 홍 수석과 짧게 대화 후 차량에 탑승해 공항을 떠났다.
