‘The WISE센터’ 개소식에는 류완하 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 총장, 주낙영 경주시장, 이동협 경주시의회 의장, 이정률 경북도청 정무실장 등 지역과 교내 주요 인사들이 참석하여 축하했다.
The WISE센터는 보건복지부의 '간호대학 실습교육 지원사업' 선정과 동국대 와이즈캠퍼스의 지원으로 설립된 간호교육 시뮬레이션센터로, 교내 영산관 4층에 센터 시설을 새로 조성하고 첨단장비를 갖춰 ▲고도화된 시뮬레이션 프로그램 ▲XR 기반 교육 ▲다양한 시나리오 플래닝 등을 통해 학생들에게 몰입감 있는 교육을 제공한다.
특히, 경상북도의 특성을 반영한 감염병 재난 교육 프로그램은 지역 사회 보건의료 현안에 대응할 수 있는 역량을 갖춘 인재를 양성하는 환경을 조성했다.
류완하 동국대 와이즈캠퍼스 총장은 “첨단 기술과 교육이 결합된 시뮬레이션 센터를 중심으로 전문적이고 실질적인 역량을 갖춘 보건의료 간호인재를 양성할 것으로 기대하며, 동국대 와이즈캠퍼스는 교육과 연구를 통해 지역사회와 글로벌 보건의료 환경에 기여하는 선도적인 역할을 다할 것”이라고 격려했다.
백설향 간호대학장은 "간호교육 시뮬레이션센터를 통해 XR 기반 시나리오 플래닝을 활용한 시뮬레이션 프로그램의 고도화를 모색하고, 첨단 시뮬레이션 교육의 선두주자로서 지역 보건의료 발전에 중추적인 역할을 하겠다. 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 간호대학은 The WISE 센터를 통해 미래 사회가 요구하는 핵심 역량을 갖춘 간호 인재를 양성하고, 지역 사회의 건강 증진에 앞장설 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
오후에 이어진 워크숍에는 경상북도 감염병관리지원단 이관 단장, 대구가톨릭대학교 정선영 교수, 계명대학교 문경자 교수, 동국대학교 의과대학 황지영 교수 등 각 분야 전문가들이 ▲경상북도형 감염병 재난 교육의 필요성 ▲INACSL 표준에 따른 시뮬레이션 간호교육 적용 ▲간호에서의 통합형 시뮬레이션 모듈 적용 사례 ▲다직종 소통 중심 의료 시나리오 플래닝 등을 주제로 강연을 펼쳤다.
참석자들은 강연 후 XR 기술 활용, 시뮬레이션 교육의 미래 등에 대한 활발한 논의를 통해 The WISE 센터가 지역 보건의료 발전에 이바지할 가능성을 확인했다.
