논산시, '나태주 시인' 초청 북콘서트 개최

논산시(시장 백성현)는 오는 5일 저녁 7시 논산열린도서관에서 나태주 시인 초청 북콘서트를 개최한다고 2일 밝혔다.

충청남도 서천군에서 6남매 중 장남으로 태어난 나태주 시인은 공주사범학교(現, 공주교육대학교)와 한국방송통신대학교, 충남대 교육대학원에서 수학했으며, 1964년 교사로 발령받은 이후 청양군 문성국민학교 교감, 충남교육청연수원 장학사 등을 거쳤고, 공주장기초등학교 교장을 끝으로 지난 2007년에 43년간의 교직 생활을 마쳤다.

나 시인은 교직생활 중 1971년 서울신문의 신춘문예에 당선된 후, 시인으로 활동하기 시작했으며 정년퇴임 후, 2014년부터 공주풀꽃문학관을 운영하고 있다.
