대전과기대 간호학과, '산학밀착형 팀티칭' 진행

대전과학기술대학교(총장 이효인/이하 대전과기대) 간호학과는 지난 11월 22일, 27일, 28일 총 3회에 걸쳐 본교 신성관에서 전문대학 혁신지원사업의 일환인 ‘산학밀착형팀티칭 프로그램’을 간호학과 1학년을 대상으로 실시했다고 4일 밝혔다.

이번 멘토링은 ‘지역보건의료기관 인력양성을 위한 산학밀착형팀티칭’이라는 주제로 유성구보건소 이호영 정신보건 팀장이 진행하였다. 이팀장은 대전과기대 간호학과 졸업 후 국립법무병원과 대전 유성구보건소에서 25년 이상 근무한 현장전문가로 현재 유성구보건소에서 정신보건 팀장을 맡고 있다.

3회에 걸쳐 진행된 멘토링은 ‘보건소 인력의 구성 및 조직도’, ‘보건소의 기능 및 업무’, ‘지역사회 간호사의 종류 및 역할(보건소 간호사를 중심으로)’, ‘보건소의 지역사회 건강관리의 방향’, ‘보건소 간호사가 되기 위한 채용 절차 및 맞춤형 진로취업멘토링’ 등의 내용으로 진행되었다.

산학밀착형팀티칭에 참여한 학생들은 “평상시 자주 방문하지 않는 보건소에서 어떤 일을 하는지 궁금했는데 이번기회를 통해 보건소의 역할에 대해 알게 되어 유익한 시간이 되었다”고 말했다.

멘토로 참여한 이호영 팀장도 “오랜만에 학교에 와보니, 탄탄한 교육과정과 최첨단 실습시설을 갖추고 있어서 좋은 환경에서 후배들이 공부하고 있다는 생각에 뿌듯함을 느꼈으며, 이번 멘토링을 통해 후배들을 만나게 되어 너무 설레고 반가웠다”고 소감을 전했다.
