<브레이크뉴스 원주 = 김일웅 기자> 강원 원주시 혁신도시 일대가 다채로운 문화 공연의 선율로 물들 전망이다.
원주시는 오는 21일 낮 12시, 건강보험심사평가원 1사옥 앞 야외 공연장에서 펼쳐지는 첫 공연을 시작으로 ‘2026년 혁신도시 문화미식회’의 대장정에 돌입한다고 밝혔다. 이어 25일 오후 2시에는 혁신도시 내 미리내사거리 분수광장에서 시민들을 위한 버스킹 공연을 이어갈 예정이다.
이번 행사는 4월부터 11월까지 장기 프로젝트로 운영되며, 올 한 해 동안 총 22회의 버스킹 공연이 혁신도시 곳곳을 찾아간다. 공연은 시민들의 눈과 귀를 즐겁게 할 악기 연주와 노래는 물론, 남녀노소 누구나 즐길 수 있는 마술 등 풍성한 장르로 구성되어 회당 60분간 진행된다.
원주시는 이번 프로그램을 통해 혁신도시 내 이전 공공기관 임직원과 지역 주민들에게 수도권 못지않은 고품격 문화 향유 기회를 제공하겠다는 구상이다. 특히 주말에는 유동 인구가 많은 혁신도시 상권 일대에서 집중적으로 공연을 개최해 관람객 유입을 유도하고, 침체된 지역 경제에도 활력을 불어넣을 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.
