천안장애인성폭력상담소(소장 이주희)는 충청남도 7개 시·군(천안시, 공주시, 논산시, 청양군, 부여군, 금산군, 계룡시)의 초·중·고등학교 장애 아동·청소년 90명을 대상으로 진행한 ‘2024년 장애 아동·청소년 성 인권교육’을 성공적으로 마무리했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 지난 3월부터 11월 말까지 총 120회기에 걸쳐 이루어졌으며, 장애 아동·청소년의 성적 자기결정권 강화와 성폭력 예방을 목표로 했다.

특히 성 가치관 정립, 건강한 관계 형성법, 성인지 감수성 향상 등을 주제로 진행됐으며, 디지털 성폭력 예방 교육도 함께 실시해 실용성을 높였다.

천안장애인성폭력상담소는 “이번 교육이 장애 아동·청소년들이 스스로를 보호하고 건강한 관계를 형성하는 데 도움이 되었기를 바란다”며 "앞으로도 다양한 성 인권 보호 활동을 이어갈 계획"이라고 밝혔다.
