12일 동국대 WISE캠퍼스에 따르면 이 기간 학생회관 식당에서 무료 아침밥을 제공하는 행사를 비롯하여 3일간 학생들이 좋아할 메뉴를 선정하여 매일 다른 이벤트를 실시했다. 이 행사에는 이번학기에 새롭게 동국인이 된 외국인 유학생들도 함께하여 그 의미를 더했다.
류완하 총장은 12일 진행된 학생회관 식당 “사랑의 아침밥” 행사에서 시험기간 중 아침밥을 먹기 위해 식당을 찾은 학생들에게 손수 아침밥을 나눠주면서 격려의 말을 전했고, 학생들과 함께 식사를 하면서 학생들의 다양한 목소리를 듣는 등 소통의 시간을 가졌다.
동국대 WISE캠퍼스 류완하 총장은 "이번 이벤트를 통해 기말고사 준비로 지친 학생들을 응원하고 2학기를 잘 마무리 할 수 있기를 바란다“며, ”2024년의 행복한 기억이 되었으면 좋겠다“고 말했다.
한편, 동국대 WISE캠퍼스는 지난 4월에도 캠퍼스 설립 46주년을 기념하고 시험에 지친 학생들을 응원하고자 간식이벤트를 진행한 바 있다.
