브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= KB국민은행은 어려운 이웃의 따뜻한 겨울나기를 돕기 위한 ‘사랑의 김장 나눔’ 봉사 활동을 실시했다고 16일 밝혔다.
이번 활동은 KB국민은행이 추진 중인 ‘KB 희망나눔 프로젝트’의 일환으로 진행됐다. ‘KB 희망나눔 프로젝트’는 소외된 이웃들의 삶에 온기를 전하고 나눔의 문화가 확산될 수 있도록 KB국민은행 임직원과 가족들이 함께하는 연간 사회봉사 프로그램이다.
지난 14일 금천구에 위치한 청담종합사회복지관에서 KB국민은행 임직원 및 가족, 일반 시민 봉사자들이 참여해 직접 김장 김치를 담갔다. 김장 김치는 금천구 지역 저소득 및 독거노인 650가정에 전달될 예정이다.
봉사활동에 참여한 KB국민은행 직원은 “이번 봉사활동을 통해 함께 나눔의 가치를 실천할 수 있어 뜻깊은 시간이었다”며 “임직원들의 작은 정성이 수혜자들에게 따뜻한 위로가 되길 바란다”고 전했다.
한편, KB국민은행은 2006년부터 청소년의 교육격차 및 기회 불평등 해소와 미래인재 양성을 지원하기 위해 대표사회공헌사업인 ‘KB Dream Wave 2030’을 펼쳐오고 있다. △학습 △진로 △지원 세 분야를 중심으로 성장 단계별 맞춤형 프로그램을 제공해 19년간 20만 명이 넘는 청소년을 지원했다.
