브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= LG유플러스는 익시 기반의 AI 기술을 활용해 U+tv 이용 고객 누구나 IPTV와 대화하면서 원하는 정보를 확인할 수 있는 ‘대화형 탐색’ 기능을 업데이트 했다고 17일 밝혔다.
U+tv 이용 고객은 순차적으로 진행되는 업데이트를 통해 추가 비용이나 별도 셋톱박스 교체 없이 ‘대화형 탐색’ 기능을 이용할 수 있다.
U+tv의 ‘대화형 탐색’은 고객이 리모컨에 탑재된 음성 검색 버튼을 통해 자유롭게 대화하며 원하는 정보를 검색할 수 있는 기능이다. 기존에는 고객의 음성 명령 중 AI가 사전에 입력된 ‘명령어’를 이해하고 원하는 서비스를 제공했다면, 이번 업데이트 이후에는 고도화된 AI가 길이가 긴 대화형 문장의 ‘맥락’을 이해하고 맞춤형 답변을 내놓는다.
